An ongoing group for people who have experienced or are experiencing a transition from one culture to another. This group provides a supportive environment to address the difficulties that follow permanent or temporary cultural transition. The group provides an opportunity to explore migration experiences and their impact on identity, relationships, family, and work. It is a place to talk about your concerns with people who share similar struggles, while benefiting from the richness of different cultural perspectives.
When: Thursdays 4:30 p.m. - 5:45 p.m.

COPING SKILLS FOR WOMEN TRAUMA SURVIVORS (two groups) These are Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy groups specifically designed to help members more effectively manage the bio-pyscho-social impact of interpersonal trauma. Group members will gain a better understanding of the impact their trauma history has in their lives and they will learn specific skills to address and diminish post-traumatic symptoms.
When: Monday evenings, 4:05 p.m. - 5:35 p.m.

POWER I POWER I is a 16-week long group for trauma survivors who wish to better understand the impact of trauma and strengthen their affect regulation by developing healthy self-care and coping skills. POWER the Practice Of Wholeness, Emotions, and Relationships, provides group members with psychoeducation around the effects of trauma, builds skills for grounding, self-soothing, and interpersonal relationships, and helps develop safe connection by supporting members' goals in a peer-monitoring context.
When: Friday mornings,
9:15 a.m. - 10:45 a.m.

CHRONIC MEDICAL CONDITIONS
This psychotherapy group offers participants a place to share their struggles redefining hope while living with a medical condition and to ease the isolation many feel when faced with illness. The group offers coping skills drawn from Dialectical Behavioral therapy, Mindfulness, and other sources as they are relevant. Group members may also benefit from discussion of their interactions with the health care system.
When: Wednesday afternoons, 1:30 p.m. - 2:45 p.m

WITH DEPRESSION AND ANXIETY
An ongoing group for men and women who are dealing with issues of grief, loss, loneliness, and disappointment. Issues such as intimacy, trust, safety will also be explored with the goal of personal growth and a deeper capacity for living one’s life with others.

MIXED ADULT I
An ongoing group for men and women in their 40's through 60's whose lives have been significantly affected by mental illness, primarily bi-polar disorder or severe depression. The group offers a supportive environment in which to explore the impact of mental illness on issues of self-esteem, family, relationships, and encourages personal growth.

MIXED ADULT II
A group for men and women in their 30s through 50s who feel isolated or who have few friends. Group members struggle with employment difficulties that are often the result of difficulty with social skills or low self-esteem. The group focuses on these issues as well as issues of intimacy, trust, and relationships.

CENTER FOR YOUNG CHILDREN & FAMILY GROUPS |
PARENTING SUPPORT
A 6-week support group for parents of young children from birth to age five who wish to explore everyday issues and some of the more significant challenges of parenting. Through an educational and therapeutic focus this group will offer mutually needed information, emotional support, and a sense of community to help parents navigate these early childhood years.
When: Tuesday mornings, 10:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.

OUT OF THE BLUE: POSTPARTUM SUPPORT FOR NEW MOMS
An experienced clinician provides a structured and supportive environment in which new mothers can manage postpartum symptoms and talk to other moms to learn from their experiences.
When: Wednesday mornings, 10:00 a.m. - 11:15 a.m.

PERINATAL LOSS
If you have had a pregnancy or neonatal loss, perhaps you are struggling in the wake of grief and trauma. Perhaps you are feeling alone in this journey. If so, this group is designed to offer individuals and couples the opportunity to heal their hearts and rebuild their lives.
Through the guidance of a licensed clinician, this group offers the comfort and mutual assurance that can only come from those who are traveling a similar journey. Within the group's safe shelter, individuals are able to receive the support necessary to heal from the grief experience. The group also provides information, education, and community resources.
When: Thursday evenings, 7:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.

AFTER MOTHERLOSS A six-week group for mothers of young children who have experienced the loss of their own mothers. This is an opportunity for women to share their stories and journeys with others who have had to develop family life after the death of their mothers.

PREGNANCY AFTER LOSS
This is an ongoing group for women. This group addresses the trauma that often accompanies pregnancy loss and provides support for mothers who experience the anxiety and confusion that often accompany a subsequent pregnancy. The group also provides information, education, guidance, and a sense of community as members encourage one another during this uncertain journey.
When: Thursday afternoons, 2:00 p.m. – 3:15 p.m.
